Music, Mirth & Mayhem the 13th for Mirabel Foundation

This year will be the Mirabel Foundation’s 13th Music, Mirth and Mayhem benefit concert, and the line-up is as strong as ever. On Monday 18th April at The Hi Fi Bar, this Melbourne International Comedy Festival highlight will feature comedians and musicians hitting the stage for one night only, including: MC Lawrence Mooney, Jimeoin, Dave Hughes, Tripod, Lehmo, Fiona O’Loughlin , The Verses (acoustic) with Ella & Jesse Hooper, Rebecca Barnard, Nick Barker, Jen Cloher, Greg Fleet, Anyone for Tennis? ….. and more acts to come!

The Mirabel Foundation cares for children orphaned or abandoned due to parental drug use. “Since Mirabel was launched in 1998, the generosity Mirabel receives from the entertainment industry has never faultered”, says Mirabel CEO, Jane Rowe. “Comedians and musicians remain our staunchest supporters and their continued generosity allows us to assist the increasing number of children referred to Mirabel.”

For comedian, Lawrence Mooney, this will be his tenth year in the role of MC and eighth as Producer. “There’s always a lot of love in the Hi Fi Bar on the night because everyone feels they’re doing something for such a good cause. It’s a joy and honour to work on this show”, said Lawrence.

Music, Mirth & Mayhem 13 will be a fun night, packed with the best of laughter and music – with all proceeds going to the Mirabel children.
