It will be a literal game of quick draw when Speaker TV plays host to a live design exhibition at St Kilda Sea Baths on Sunday, February 13th.

Entrants in the ‘Uncap What’s Inside’ exhibition have two hours to hand-draw their design on a blank A0 poster using only Sharpie markers. The themes of music and summer will serve as inspiration.

“Music, fashion and art are at the heart of what Speaker TV lives and breathes,” says Speaker TV director Ivan Gomez.

“We spend our days and nights interviewing those who have made it their business to get noticed by pursuing their artist talent and we have an enormous vault of this magic on display at speakertv.com.au.

“As always, our activities aim to uncap more talent and Sharpie’s colour palette and product range will provide each artist with the license to create something special,” he says.

Winners will enjoy cash prizes, Kangol and Moonwalker products, and instant fame with their works gracing both the Desktop Magazine and Speaker TV websites and an interview on Kiss FM.

Both entrants and art lovers can then spend plenty of time unwinding at a VIP after party hosted at Roxy Bar in Port Melbourne.

“The live design battle will be a public event from 1pm at the St Kilda Sea Baths, but the after party, which follows immediately after, will be limited to 300 VIP crew at Roxy bar in Port Melbourne,” says Mr Gomez.

“Speaker TV parties are infamous – mostly because they are free and yet still offer great food, the best beer and an impressive music line up. This time around it’s BBQ, Cooper’s brews and 16 DJ’s to take us into the night.”
