The first ever display of CarbieWarbie’s rock and roll photography, accompanied by some of Australia’s finest rock and roll

Clearly Australia Day is all about Australian rock and roll, so how better to celebrate than with Australia’s hardest working rock photographer? Lost & Found at Revolver upstairs have invited Carbie to handpick his favourite and most popular photographs and offer them for display and sale.

Revolver Upstairs – 229 Chapel Street Prahran, Vic Wednesday January 26th (Australia Day)                                                                Exhibition 5pm – 10pm – back room Free Entry Bands 7.30pm – late – $8 on the door

Along with photographing for Triple J Magazine, Carbie’s photos are frequently published on ToneDeaf.com.au, FasterLouder.com.au, TheDwarf.com.au, Mess+Noise, Musicfeeds.com.au and LifeMusicMedia.com. He has shot for The Community Cup, The SLAM Rally, The Push, Federation Square, Music Victoria, Tourism Victoria, Triple R and PBS and been published in Rolling Stone, The Age, Sydney Morning Herald and The Courier Mail.

Accompanying Carbie’s work will be Carbie’s own selection of his favourite Australian acts. Headliners Skinwalkers (QLD) are the next ‘watch this space’ band, and will travel from the Gold Coast to play their first interstate show especially for the event.

Joining them will be the always amazing Bitter Sweet Kicks, Jason Evans’ new project Threesome, the very rocking Vice Grip Pussies and the gorgeous Kim Volkman.

The cherry on this Rocking Sundae will be rock journo TJ Honeysuckle playing a collection of rare Aussie punk recordings on vinyl from 10-midnight, followed by Magic Dirt’s Adalita spinning until morning.
