Lost & Found January – Featuring Carbie Warbie’s Rock Photography

Running every Wednesday in Revolver’s back room Lost & Found Resident DJ’s spin long lost and newly found soul/rock/pop and indie records until dawn. Better yet, each week guest DJ’s from all corners of the industry can be seen strutting their stuff and playing their favourite records. January Lost & Found will add Music Art Exhibitions to their night featuring Carbie Warbie Melbourne’s favourite rock photographer on Wednesday January 26th will share his collection of his most popular photographers for sale or just to browse at between 5pm – 10pm for one night only.

In the DJ booth this month:

WEDNESDAY 5th JANUARY Revolver remains the place to be on a Wednesday night. Resident DJ SPIDEY takes us on his usual 6pm to 10pm culinary journey, followed by the welcome addition of MIKEY YOUNG (EDDY CURRENT SUPPRESSION RING) fresh from the US with bags full of brand spanking new vinyl from 10pm to 1am. Revolver resident rock chick DJ ADALITA follows Mikey from 1am close.

WEDNESDAY 12TH JANUARY Come on a journey through time and music with the spin king DJ SPIDEY from 6 pm to 10pm, followed by resident DJ GUPSTAR who returns to the decks for the first time in 2011 with her own blend of classic rock hits. Fellow Revolver resident DJ SHAKY MEMORIAL (a.k.a Mary Mihelakos of Beat Magazine/The Age) will see the night off in style from 12am till close with a mix of new and exciting tunes.


The third installment of Lost & Found’s January line up sees DJ SPIDEY once again on the decks from 6pm to 10pm. Spidey is joined this week by: JAYMZ CLEMENTS (BEAT MAG) from 10pm – midnight bringing you his late night rock n roll shenanigans. DJ SHAKY MEMORIAL will join her music mag mate at midnight to continue rocking out to the early hours of the morning.

WEDNESDAY 26TH JANUARY Australia Day Lost & Found bring you something truly special, from 6pm – 10pm DJ SPIDEY will help serve up an aussie bbq with DJ TJ HONEYSUCKLE the top journo for MESS+NOISE, writer of fanzines and RRR jock will be armed with his unsurpassable knowledge of the Australian Music Scene and his amazing collection of rare aussie punk recordings on vinyl, which he’ll be sharing for one night only, from 10pm – midnight. DJ ADALITA will then finish the night off in rockin’ style till the wee hours of the morning.
