Lost & Found the vinyl-influenced night every Wednesday in Revolver’s back room is back for the festive season. Resident DJ’s spin long-lost and newly found soul/rock/pop and indie records until dawn. Better yet, each week guest DJ’s from all corners of the industry can be seen strutting their stuff and playing their favourite records. In the DJ booth this month:

Revolver remains the place to be on a Wednesday night. Resident DJ SPIDEY takes us on his usual 6pm to 10pm culinary journey, followed by the welcome addition of soul sister ETTA CURRY SUPPRESSION RING from 10pm to 12am. Etta is followed by Revolver resident DJ’s GUPSTAR from 12am to 2am and DJ DECAMERON’s from 2am to close.

Come on a journey through time and music with the spin king DJ SPIDEY from 7pm to 10pm, followed by the triumphant return from Berlin of DJ DUKE A (better known as Scotty from Dukes of Windsor) from 10pm to 12am with his own blend of classic rock hits. Revolver resident DJ SHAKY MEMORIAL (a.k.a Mary Mihelakos of Beat Magazine/The Age) will see the night off in style from 12am til close with a mix of new and classic rock.

The third instalment of Lost & Found’s DECEMBER takeover sees DJ SPIDEY once again on the decks from 7pm to 10pm. Spidey is joined this week by: DJ PTV (aka Peter Varley) from 10pm – midnight, a former Ninja Tune employee who once held the unique honor of being named the best DJ in Bangladesh, PTV’s twisted sonic ideology will be on display. Shaky Memorial will join them at midnight after the EG awards to continue rocking out to the early hours of the morning.

‘Twas only three sleeps before Christmas, and Revolver gets a little giddy with holiday cheer. The legend of rock and roll that is DJ SPIDEY will be providing entrée before the impressive DJ WHITT takes over from 10pm to midnight. Fresh off touring with Blondie and The Pretenders is DJ ADALITA who will keep the party going til dawn with all kinds of past and present hits.

Just when you thought it was safe to go out on a Wednesday, the relentless mid-week action continues… The final installment of Lost & Found for 2010 starts with resident DJ SPIDEY until 10pm when special guest DJ MATT DOLL (a.k.a Matt Thomas of The Blow Waves/The Mavis’s) takes over to add a bit of glam to the night. Closing a successful year for Lost & Found will be resident DJ DECAMERON.
