I managed to catch their sold out February performance at the Melbourne Recital Centre 2010, the performance of ‘The Raah Project’. The groups seamless blending of Jazz, Orchestra, Soul, Hip hop and the bands take on jazz drum n bass Music, The 17 piece garner success, not only as a live act, but as a respected part of the vinyl remix culture of the UK.   The album ‘Score’ met with further critical acclaim through Germany (***** Rolling Stone) and France (#6 Jazz Album of the Year iTunes) and the track ‘Trick of the Light’ was added to BBC1 Tastemaker Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Bubblers 5 compilation. The success of international remix releases, 10” vinyl by Blue Daisy and Alex Patchwork selling out as well as a 12” Bootlegged Cessa White Label.

Before they step back into the studio to start work on their eagerly awaited second album, the group have assembled their 17 players and are heading back to the Recital Centre for one night only. I suggest you do yourself a favour and purchase a ticket for a musical experience you’ll never forget.
