SIM2 – Melbourne Street Artist – War of The Walls

SimTwo is part street artist, part writer, part machine. His ghosts and mecha characters litter the northside. Macabre machines hypodermics, plumbing, steampunk, cyber are a few words to describe the work. His work is placed in locations where people tend to leave them rather than buff them because they fit well with their environment or at least thats the idea.
The mechanics splayed on melbourne’s walls can be seen as a comment on this futuristic day and age we live in. The ghosts may Represent the masses, us the seen and unseen members of our society, tall poppies and sheep amongst us. Of course all art is open to interpretation, sim2 hopes that people can get more out of his imagery and attach their own meaning, appreciating it at their own level of interest.
Come see Sim2 at his finest this Sunday November 7th as part of War of The Walls
Collingwood Underground Arts Park
6pm
