Rock N Roll on a Wednesday night = Lost & Found

‘Lost & Found’ is a classic vinyl-influenced night running every Wednesday in Revolver’s back room.

The night features Revolver’s legendary stalwarts Spidey, Adalita and Mary alongside newly    promoted resident DJ’s Gupstar and Decameron. Each week DJ’s spin lost and found soul, rock and indie records until dawn. Better yet, every week features a special guest on the decks.

DJ SPIDEY’s dinner set builds from a digestive blend of jazz and spicy beats as you dine on some mighty fine Thai food, then transforms into a trip down rock and roll’s hall of fame, tunes you forgot you loved and some new discoveries you’ll never forget. Reminisce with your mates and get warmed up for the night ahead.

DJ ADALITA plays and knows what she likes, and she’ll play what you like, if you ask very nicely. Blondie, Ramones, Television, Cosmic Psychos, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Rolling Stones, Lou Reed, BRMC, 80’s, 90’s, Superfreak, DJ Shadow, new and old local talent, girl group action, Patti Smith, The Church, The Cure, The Loved Ones, and more.

DJ SHAKY MEMORIAL is Mary Mihelakos; Shaky has been DJing at various venues across Melbourne over the last decade. With a wide taste in music and a record collection to match you never know what Shaky is going to play next but one thing is guaranteed, you’ll be able to dance to, from garage to grunge, punk to electronica, new wave to exotica, rock to hip hop, country to R’n’B and metal to soul in the same DJ set.

DJ GUPSTAR began her love for records at a very young age. She has since developed and promoted Sunday Vinyl at Cherry, amongst Thursday, Friday and Saturday night residencies. Gupstar ranges across most genres, but specializes in indie, 80’s, post punk and rock’n’roll.

DJ DECAMERON is part of a younger generation inspired by Melbourne soul elders and a slightly unhealthy fascination for one hit wonders. Straight from the mean streets of Richmond, he teams up with the Sunday Vinyl crew to deliver soul; funk and sixties pop to the masses.

  • Colonel Tan supplies cheap Thai eats every week from 5 to 11pm each night.
  • On the first Wednesday of each month there will be a music art exhibition. Open to public submissions, art will be available to view and purchase.
  • On the third Wednesday of each month there will be a vinyl market with all kinds of rare and new 45’s and LP’s for sale from local retailers.

‘Lost & Found’ Wednesdays at Revolver Upstairs 229 Chapel Street Prahran.
